The wonderful team at FicceCode invited me to visit their newest store in the heart of Melbourne to experience one of their treatments and have my scalp analysed.
FicceCode has been developed with a scientific thinking, with two Melbourne uni students analysing what ingredients actually make hair healthier and smoother.
The store in Swanston Street, Melbourne is the brand’s first Australian store. The space is light, bright and wonderfully styled with a touch of New York to it – perfect for the Melbourne CBD. It’s close to the Swanston Street trams and also Flinders Street Station.
I was warmly greeted by the staff and given a cup of beautiful T2 tea before my scalp analysis started. I was warned I could be shocked by what we see.
I actually really enjoyed it, it is so cool seeing your hair follicles magnified and I was advised I had some mild dandruff plus sensitivity. They recommended I use the Shea Cashmere Treatment Mask as part of the service as my hair is quite dry and this can help restore moisture and shine.
After my analysis I was taken to the sink for the wash, shampoo and one of the most heavenly head massages I have ever experienced. My treatment was applied to the ends of my hair before being rinsed off.
Back in the hairdressers chair, my stylist asked how I would like it styled – I was going to stay straight (a little predictable) and she sensed this immediately. I loved that! She gave me the idea of a slight curl – I was in!
The Dyson Hair Dryer was used, which is AMAZING as they are so good for your hair. Its been shown they reduce damage caused by blowdrying, and I need all the help I can get with my bleached blonde locks.
The end result – shiny, glamorous hair and a style I am now obsessed with!
My Stylist finished with the FicceCode Hair Oil ($49.99) and this had a wonderful texture, light and didn’t weigh my hair down, I’ll definitely be back to purchase this one!
I thoroughly recommend you pop in, even just for the shampoo & blow dry, after all, we all deserve to treat ourselves!
